Procedure
- Into a clean beaker, add phase A and begin to mix under medium shear. Begin heating to 80°C.
- Combine phase B in a separate beaker until a slurry forms. Add to phase A slowly.
- Combine phase C in separate beaker and begin heating to 80°C. Once both are at 80°C, slowly add phase C to phase AB.
- Homogenize until a glossy, smooth emulsion forms.
- Begin cooling down to below 40°C.
- Once temperature is below 40°C, begin adding phase D one at a time.
- Adjust pH to be between 5.0-5.5
