Procedure
- Into a beaker, add water and begin mixing at medium shear.
- Add phase A one at a time, ensuring each addition is fully incorporated. Begin heating to 80°C.
- Add phase B one at a time into a separate beaker and begin heating to 80°C.
- When both phases are at temperature, slowly add phase B to phase A.
- Homogenize until a glossy, smooth emulsion forms.
- Begin cooling down to below 40°C.
- When batch reaches 55°C, add phase C.
- Once temperature is below 40°C, begin adding phase D one at a time.
- Adjust pH to be between 4.5-5.0
