Procedure
- In a suitable beaker, add phase A and begin mixing while heating to 80°C.
- Premix phase B to form a slurry, then add directly to phase A.
- In a separate beaker, combine phase C and heat to 80°C until fully melted and homogenous.
- When phase AB and phase C are both at temperature, add phase C.
- Homogenize for 5 minutes under high shear.
- Cool sample (naturally) while mixing.
- Add phase D when sample is below 40°C, one at a time and ensure full incorporation of each addition.
- Premix phase E before adding to main beaker.
- Adjust pH to be 5.0 ± 0.5 using Citric Acid and NaOH solution.
